Elon Musk has impressed us once again. During a shareholder’s meeting this year, Elon spoke about the challenging process they underwent to reach the rather ambitious goals of the company, filled with roadblocks and delays.
In 2017, Musk announced the company’s plans for solar rooftops, estimating production kicking off in 2018. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite fit into their estimated time-frame.
We are about to complete version 3 of the solar roof. This is actually quite a hard technology problem to have an integrated solar cell with a roof tile, have it look good, and last for 30 years. I am very excited about version 3 of solar roof. We have a shot at being equal to a comp shingle roof plus someone’s utility cost or being lower than that. That’s one of the cheapest roofs available. So you can have a great roof with better economics than a normal fairly cheap roof and your utility bill,” Musk said, according to Electrek.
Planned to be available to the average homeowner, costing roughly the price of a single shingle roof and boasting superior durability with an estimated ability to produce power for up to 30 years, it’s no wonder we’re all waiting in anticipation.
With solar energy being rather unattainable to most, if Elon Musk keeps to his promise, it could significantly change everything, creating a gateway for the average consumer.
More than enough data has been captured, proving solar power to be the cheapest source of energy.
The International Energy Agency has estimated solar power to become the number one source of energy by 2050. This is big.
The great thing about solar power is it’s unlimited source and with an ever evolving development backing solar energy extraction, prices will go down as the machinery required is further developed and one day perfected.
The new High Concentration PhotoVoltaic Thermal (HCPVT) system is one of the most promising systems so far developed. With an ability to magnify the sun’s energy by 2,000-5,000 times, researchers at IBM are rather excited about the possibilities.
The system is rather simple too – hundreds of small solar cells are kept cool which allows the generation of more energy than conventional panels which suffer from not being capable of absorbing optimal amounts of energy.
The Swiss Commission for Technology and Innovation has granted Tesla with $2.4 million to bring the project out of it’s infancy stage, hoping for free energy for all one day.

During this week I had the most profound and transformational experience of my life and it’s not only me . . .over 95% of people who embark on this journey at Rythmia reports that they too had a life changing miracle. This magical place had such a profound effect on me that I am now dedicating my time to sharing this healing opportunity of a lifetime with you all.
