Why You Should Believe In Yourself and Your Dream

Trust your dreams, your heart and your story.

What if Thomas Edison had the idea for the light bulb and thought it was ridiculous so didn’t go ahead with it?

What if Henry Ford has the idea to put the world on wheels but didn’t do it because no one had done it before?

What if Bishop T D Jakes had the idea of the ManPower Conference and he thought it wasn’t possible?

Every single person has a unique gift to offer the world and that unique idea or dream that is in your heart no matter how small or how much you may think it’s not important, it really is.

We are literally, all the same, we are all human, the only difference is the people that take action and take a risk on their ideas.

Your idea could change your life.

You have genius in you.

You have greatness within you

You have something special within you.

Embrace who you are and what is in your heart.

Imagine lying in the bed in hospital, being on the death bed, and standing around you are the ideas, the dreams, the talents that have been given to you by the universe, the talents that you didn’t develop the skills that you never did anything with, standing around you looking at you with large angry eyes saying “We came to you! Only you could have given us life, now we have to die with you forever.” What idea do you have right now that you could be acting on?

Experiment them all, it’s your life and it’s your journey. Try everything. Make it ok to fail.

You got to be out of your mind to believe it can happen, affirm it every day. Make it your truth that you can do it. Develop and make your mindset so strong you can deal with anything life throws at you…

These people followed their uniqueness – and if they didn’t, the world wouldn’t be the same and this is why you should trust yours too.

Andrew Carnegie: Came from nothing to become the richest man in the world. His dream “Gospel Of Wealth” and he helped to build the American Steel Industry which helped the whole USA Economy.

Christopher Columbus: His dream was to discover the world at a time when there were no facilities to do so. He risked his whole life existence for it and found the “New World” and was the reason for opening up America to European Colonization.

Nicolas Copernicus He had an idea that there was a multiplicity of worlds, so he found them and revealed to the world thatthe planets revolved around the sun at the time in the 1500’s when people thought the Earth was the center of the Universe.

Henry Ford Dreamt of creating an affordable car, so he built two different models that changed society and the world we live in today and became one of the richest and well known men in the world.

Thomas Edison The worlds greatest inventor and scientist, developed lamp without electricity and many other devices that changed the world.

Abraham Lincoln – Dreamed of freedom for the black slaves, he fought for Human Rights during the Civil War and helped people see that a new policy should be put into place regarding race. He assisted in the 13th, 14th, 15th Amendments which outlawed slavery and established their right for freedom and voting.

The Wright Brothers – Dreamed of a machine that would fly through the air. These two inventors created the first successful Airplane.

Guglielmo Marconi – Through his interest in in science and electricity he dreamed of bringing forces together and therefore came up with the invention of the radio, he was even sent to hospital because people thought he was crazy for thinking he could transmit messages through the air without communication.

John Bunyan – Bunyan became interested in Religion and became a preacher, he then went to prison for 12 years because he wouldn’t give up on religion or becoming a preacher, but during this time he discovered his passions and wrote Pilgrims Progress which became one of the most published books in English Language.

Hellen Keller – Was born with the disability of being deaf and blind, she didn’t let this stop her back and she managed to make history. Her efforts still make a difference to this day.

Robert Burns Born into poverty but changed the world through his poetry, he is known as the “National Poet of Scotland” and is known through out the world.

Booker T. Washington Was born into slavery, but because of his strong dreams he became the leading voice of the Slaves and left his impress for the good on the whole race.

Beethoven Changed the world with his music, influenced composers, the sounds, he wrote 9 symphonies.

William Sydney Porter Used his other self to discover his dream by using his imagination. He found himself to be a great author instead of a criminal.

Dream, do, think, see possibility everywhere, give the world a new idea. The World is filled with opportunity.
