It’s not often I post content about music or entertainment on this website but when I do it’s always something a bit special and that’s exactly what this deaf singer is – Special.
Mandy Harvey, 29, lost her hearing at age 18.
“Basically I got sick and my nerves deteriorated,” she explained to the judges of her hearing loss. She abandoned her passion for a time, but Harvey, who had been singing since she was a child, was able to return to it by relying on muscle memory, visual tuners and trust in her own pitch.

Mandy realized she was the only person stopping herself from reaching for her dreams and now because of this amazing audition so many people around the world are going to have been inspired by Mandy’s passion and talent.
