Nyeeam Hudson may only be 10-years-old, but he seems to have more wisdom than many adults. Under the pseudonym King Nahh, Hudson shares motivational words with the world through a positive message of self-love and confidence. His Instagram page, which has over 68,000 followers, is rife with wisdom that few manage to attain over the course of their lifetime.
In his most recent message, posted on Sunday, Hudson described how he was bullied on the playground for wearing shoes that weren’t considered popular by his peers. His response to the cutting words were well beyond his years.
“It’s not about what I have on my feet, it’s about what I have inside my head,” he said in the video. “No matter what I’m wearing, what I have on, it’s about my information, the knowledgable things in life. These sneakers are not even going to fit you 20 years from now.”
Hudson goes on to explain that kids raised with a materialistic mindset will quickly feel less than worthwhile, the moment they lose their material possessions. When self-worth is rooted in the things you own, your confidence will be short lived and all but impossible to maintain. He pleads with parents and kids alike to appreciate the internal more than the external.
