With so much history being lost, it’s rather great to see Slavic attire being brought back to life.
Photographer Ula Kóska and makeup artist Beata Bojda collaborated on a project which saw a couple of models donning traditional Slavic wreaths, notable from Slavic folklore.
These were worn traditionally during ceremonies like weddings, funerals,,festivals and Easter – one of their most important celebrations.
Usually made from twisted paper, these wreaths speak volumes on a tradition which almost didn’t make it.
