If you’re not the avid builder, you could also rent one of these on Airbnb.
Tiny homes have taken the internet by storm, with Instagram, tumblr and Facebook making us all feel that magical wanderlust feeling to just leave our homes and adventure. You could solve this problem with bringing the actual feeling right back home with a magical miniature home, which can be assembled on site with little effort.
The only real hangup is the fact that due to these small homes trending so much, their prices have become rather unattainable to most.

Alla Ponomareva, avid blogger and her husband Garrett have come up with a much friendlier on the pocket solution. The couple have successfully built their own tiny A-frame home for a mere $700 and all this came together in 3 weeks.
How did they manage this impressive feat?
Using an A-frame design they found online, designed by Derek “Deek” Diedrickson, they built a tiny guest home on their property in Missoula, Montana. The design came out so affordable, they even managed to come in at around $500 cheaper than what was estimated to finish the project. This was simply due to the couple using up-cycled materials such as window frames, nails, roofing and many other features.

With the cabin being just 80sq feet, the tiny home sprouted up in record time.
When friends or family aren’t residing in the small cabin, the couple rents it out via Airbnb for $100 a night, with it accommodating sleeping space for 3 once the beds are pushed together, with one guest sleeping in the hammock.

The cabin is also completely off grid, with a small solar panel to power a light and possibly charge a phone or two.
Less than a minute’s walk from the cabin, you can find a portable toilet and solar powered shower with hammocks and chairs dotting the property which is just what you need for the ultimate relaxation getaway under the stars.
