“My technique is don’t believe anything. If you believe in something, you are automatically precluded from believing its opposite.” – Terence McKenna
Terence McKenna was an American ethnobotanist, mystic, psychonaut, lecturer, and author who spoke and wrote about a variety of subjects, including psychedelic drugs, plant-based entheogens, shamanism, metaphysics, alchemy, language, philosophy, culture, technology, and the theoretical origins of human consciousness. He was called the “Timothy Leary of the ’90s”
In the video below he was on a radio show when an angry caller called him a ‘disciple of Satan’ . His response was calm, eloquent and well articulated. And I enjoyed his answer so much that I decided to share it with you all.
If only Terence was still around, he’d definitely get more support now that science is showing more people the truth. But we can use the power of social media and the internet to spread his word further than it could have ever been spread whilst he was alive.
