The Tibetan Rites are five simple, yet profoundly effective, movements are easy to incorporate into a daily practice you may already have. They have been said to be the “fountain of youth”. Even though the Tibetan Rites are an ancient practice of over 2,500 years old, they were first brought to the West just last century in 1939 with Peter Kelder’s book The Eye of Revelation. Kelder had learned about the Rites from a retired British colonel who had gone to a remote monastery in the Himalayas after he kept hearing stories of llamas who became surprisingly strong, young-looking, and full of vigor after doing the so-called rites. At the monastery the colonel learned that the stories were true. They taught him about the seven “psychic vortexes” that, as we age, start to spin slower which leads to worse health. They found that the spin rate of the vortexes can be restored by practicing the 5 rites on a daily basis. Amazed by this information and feeling the need to share it with the world, Kelder published this book to serve as a great guide to making the Tibetan Rites a part of your daily practice.

This book is a classic that does a marvelous job at keeping you captivated and really feeling into the experience of living a more present life. It’s appearance alone is like no other book with each page looking like a work of art. Be Here Now is a story of the journey of author Richard Alpert who renamed himself Baba Ram Dass after meeting his guru in India along the way. It begins with him leaving the hyper-materialistic culture of the West to go to the spiritually-respectful culture in the East. He had decided to embark on this adventure because after discovering the psychedelics psiolocybin and LSD, he experienced profound boundary dissolution and embarked on the path of Self-realization to India. There he was introduced to the spiritual practices of meditation, hatha yoga, and Eastern philosophy and metaphysics. If you are looking to develop a deeper relationship with their true Self, loves poetic descriptions of the awakening process and are looking for practical advice on how to live a yogic life, then this is the book for you.

This book is the ultimate as far as high-vibrational Self-realization teachings go. By cutting away all the non-essential fluff that sometimes comes with spiritual lessons, teacher Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj unmasked the mystery of what the true Self is. He does not promote any specific ideology. Furthermore, the format of the book is very interesting. It is written out in the form of dialogues he had with people who came from all over the world with the intention to strip away all the layers that had built up around their true ‘I’ and its timelessness.

The world has always been perceived as being a solid thing that is incredibly difficult to change. There is, however, another perspective today – an incredible amount of evidence today supports the idea that the universe is a holographic projection out of some primary Reality. This book dives into the beliefs of esteemed physicist David Bohm, a former protege of Einstein’s and quantum physicist Karl Pribram, that the universe itself is probably a massive hologram, partially manifested by the Mind. Within its pages you’ll discover how this perception shift would explain many of the mysteries of physics, including telepathy, out-of-body and near death experiences, “lucid” dreams, and the mystical experiences of collective oneness and miraculous healings. Be prepared to have your mind blown.
