In February of 2015, a young man known as Schae chanced upon Nigel Stanford’s video “Cymatics: Science Vs Music” which was (in the words of Russell Peters) completely mind-blasting. We even featured it on our website.
This video intrigued Schae and he wanted to experiment with it using the concept of cymatics, the science of visualising sound. So he created a video of his own called Sonic Explorations.
Sonic Explorations is the first culmination of his experimenting, with partner-in-crime Shehzad Jeevaji.
This live audiovisual experience was performed in October 2015 at the Queensland Academy of Creative Industries, as a part of the Festival of Australian Student Theatre (FAST) 2015 in Brisbane, Australia.

Sonic Explorations
The idea that sound is visible is something that will baffle many people, but the more we come to understand this realisation the better we can understand the entire universe.
