This amazing video shows an octopus perform an amazing escape – by unscrewing a jam jar lid from the INSIDE.
The tentacled beastie presses up against the lid before using its suckers to gently rotate the lid and lift it off.
Some aquariums use special locks to keep the intelligent cephalopods in their tanks precisely because they are able to open jars like this.
This video was shot by the Enoshima Aquarium in Japan and has already been viewed over 3.5 million times on YouTube.
