The magician is a finalist on season 13 of America’s Got Talent and is probably my favourite act of the season if not of all time. His magic simply bends my mind and each time I watch him my jaw drops to the floor.
Who is Shin Lim?
Shin Lim is a young magician, known for his fast-paced card tricks. He prefers to be called a sleight of hand artist, according to his website.
He’s in his mid-20s and was born in Canada but raised in Singapore.
According to his website: ‘Lim admits that he is actually NOT a magician, nor a wizard, and has NO intention of LYING to the audience.
‘He performs carefully SELF-CHOREOGRAPHED routines rather than pretending to defy the laws of Physics.’
But I prefer to call what he does ‘Magic’.
