How to Feel Better When You’re Feeling Bad

Sometimes in life, we can get so caught up in trying to be better, achieve more, do more, that we forget to really appreciate who we really are and start comparing and doubting.

Today I want this blog post to be a reminder that you are enough just as you are now. You don’t need to wait anymore to go and do something you have always wanted to do, or you don’t have to punish yourself if you want to relax and watch a film instead of working 24/7. You are enough now, you have always been enough and you always will be enough.

Here are 4 things to do when you start to forget your self-worth and how amazing you are.

1. Write down a list of your blessings:

Who and what are you grateful for?

2. Make a List of all your accomplishments

Praise is the best way to build your self-belief. What have you already done that you are really proud of? Put this list and put it where you can see it every day to remind yourself of how far you have come.

3. Create a Vision 100

Make a list of all the things you really want to do and get excited about them. All the people you want to meet, places you want to go, people you want to do business with, products you want to sell… Everything will come at the right time.

4. Take a Break

If you are feeling bad instead of putting more pressure on yourself, just take an hour and cut off from everything else, spend time in nature and just relax your mind and body.

When you feel good about yourself, it gives you an amazing coping strategy for whatever life throws at you.

Learn to enjoy the journey on the way. You don’t have to stop yourself or be so hard on yourself.

You can decide today to be happy whilst working on yourself!
