As if the enigmatic Nazca lines were not mysterious enough—there are more than 800 straight lines, 300 geometric figures and 70 designs of animals and plants in Nazca—if you trace the Nazca lines all over the planet, they happen to converge in a specific location which is more than impressive.
The Nazca lines, located in Nazca Peru, have captured the imagination of historians, researchers, and tourists for decades. The enigmatic set of lines and zoomorphic shapes—only seen from the air—were spotted in 1927, when airlines started flying over Peru and passengers reported seeing mysterious lines, figures, and shapes on the ground.
Soon after, tourists, authors, and researchers flooded the area trying to figure out what the Nazca lines are trying to tell us.
But maybe to understand the Nazca lines we must not study the lines and symbols itself but rather the message they may carry within them.
This is why a YouTube user decided to try a different approach and study the Nazca lines from a different perspective.
Sensationally, he plotted the lines using Google Earth—over the entire globe—and found they converge at one specific location: Angkor Wat, a temple complex located in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments on the planet measuring a staggering 162.6 hectares.
While this may be nothing more than a simple coincidence, there are those who believe there is more to the Nazca lines, Angkor Wat, and other ancient sites on the planet than what mainstream scholars are willing to accept.
The truth is that the Cambodian temple is the exact antipodal of Nazca, and I find that incredibly interesting.
An antipodal point on the surface of a sphere is the point which is diametrically opposite to it.
This may be just a geometrical coincidence, but there are many who believe ancient cultures were interconnected, and proof of that is the countless structures—and their perfect alignment—around the globe.
Look at the Great Pyramid of Giza for example.
This ancient structure was created with an unremarkable precision which we today cannot replicate using modern day tools.
Yet somehow, thousands of years ago, the ancient builders of the pyramid managed to erect one of the largest structures on the planet with laser-like precision:
The Great Pyramid is the most accurately aligned structure in existence and faces true north with only 3/60th of a degree of error. The position of the North Pole moves over time and the pyramid was exactly aligned at one time.
Furthermore, the Great Pyramid is located at the center of the land mass of the earth. The east/west parallel that crosses the most land and the north/south meridian that crosses the most land intersect in two places on the earth, one in the ocean and the other at the Great Pyramid.
