Don’t strive for perfection
Don’t overthink it just start it, done is better than perfect at first.
Step by step
Break big tasks into small chunks which helps to stop overwhelm. When you have a task, figure out what the smallest step to take, then go on from there and give yourself goals when to accomplish each step.
Double check your to-do list
Is there something that you keep putting on there because you THINK you should do? IF it’s realy nagging you – just remove it, because if it doesn’t feel good to do anyway you probably won’t get a good result.
Say NO
“The difference between successful people and very successful people is that successful people say no.” – Warren Buffet If you don’t want to go somewhere, don’t go. It’s your time. Figure out how much your time is worth, then you will be able to decide whether something is worth your time or not.
Wake up early
Try and wake up 1 minute earlier each day and wake up around the same time so its easier to structure your day.
Don’t Multitask
Multitasking slows you down, when you start one thing, finish it, never touch it twice.
Cut Off
Aim to finish your work around 7pm so you have the evening to rest and restore and have personal time. Cutting off before bed by relaxing and watching a film reduces stress.
