In an ideal world, the price tag associated with a particular piece of art would truly reflect the work and craftsman ship that went into making it, as well as the overall quality of the finished product. No doubt subjective either way, that is often times not the case when it comes to fine art.

Subsequently, it’s all pretty much a massive price-fixing scheme benefiting collectors with deep pockets, all while excluding lesser-known, up-and-coming artists.
